Well i want to press the little button but i don't have any ammo....... YET!

oh you mean shutter release I thought you meant trigger.

A BIG thanks to S1 of ARTACTICAL for his beautiful machine work and for working within my timetable. The second thanks goes to Bob at LONEWOLF RIFLESTOCKS again for beautiful work
and timely production. Why was this most expensive 30 Wolf ever undertaken? Because i only plan on doing this once and i didn't want to cut any corners. The action is a Nesika model M The Barrel a Lilja 3 groove The Scope and rings a Nightforce 5.5-22X56 secured by Nightforce Aluminum and Titanium rings The stock is Carbon fiber By Bob of Lonewolf Riflestocks. The Brake which is made from a solid billet of 6alv4 Titanium was a labor of love by S1 one he swears he will not recreate for any price. The adjustable buttstock was also made of Titanium billet by me.
So where i am going with all this is none of the above components were cheap but you get what you pay for, and if i had bought the best components then let just anyone put it together for me then i would not have the rifle that sits before me today.

Something that I must stress is everyone I dealt with were first class people, S1 at ARTACTICAL, Dan Lilja of Lilja rifle barrels, Bob Culbertson at Lonewolf and Richard Spruill at Nesika all took the time to talk to me. And see exactly what i wanted to build so that i could get the right products from them.

Thanks to all and i can't wait to give a range report after i get a load worked up.

Really nice DOC! Wink The adjustable LOP looks KA! Bob and Dan are not only the best at what they do...They are some of best guys to work with in the industry. Both of them have buku common sense.

You know Doc....you could have gone COOKIE CUTTER 'TACTICAL'....
To think you could have had a 1/2 MOA Tomahack Rem. 700 with Mcmillan stock and a telephone pole for a bolt knob.... Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin weighing in a 22 lbs. Eek I think they use that overgrown bolt knob for CQ combatives when the woodchucks get aggressive.....that or they are overcompensating..... Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

So now that you have a rifle that can double the effective range of your rangefinder....

What next?

Is the detachable box magazine from HS Precision? How much work did it take to interface with the Lonewolf stock?

Yes it is an HS detatchable mag The stock was built specifically for the Nesika action with the HS detatchable mag from scratch so it wasn't a modification of an existing design. I'm sure that mag could be fitted to about anything but how much work to do it i do not know. I can't believe S1 built me a sub 1/4 minute canon! I am in heaven.

Got to help break the barrel in on that monster yesterday shooting some fireforming loads. I would have to say that the stock is the best feeling unit I have ever wrapped a trigger hand around (Kudos to Bob @ Lone Wolf). The barrel is outstanding, clean up in a snap, (Kudos to Dan Lilja). The brake is unreal, I can't believe how much trace I am watching, maybe from 170 yards on out! Lots of potential here, only time will tell. Doc jumped on a plane as soon as we had the trajectory flying the R2 600 yard system. He is off to Michigan to slay some unsuspecting Bambis. Good luck on the hunt Doc, May the horns be with you!
