Rookie of the Year in 06 was Jena Heaton. John and Dianne Hoover have decided to give a plaque to the light gun rookie shooter each year. Yesterday at the banquet, John presented this years winner Jena Heaton with a plaque for a job well done. The criteria for this award was that you had to have shot no 1000 yard matches before this season and had to finish the year with a best total 6 match group and score aggs amongst the rookie shooters. Jena was also in the 10 match agg so that was no trouble. Congratulations Jena. Next year we hope to have even more new shooters fighting for that spot.
I won 7 of the 10 light gun relays I shot in.And won 3 of the light gun aggs.And set a new 6 match score agg world record.Pretty good year ...I shoot 210 Bergers....
